Happy early Birthday, but sorry that you're dealing with this dilemma. One way I could see you getting out of this without having to get a terrible job is to try opening commissions, like most artists do. Since you can make music and art, you could do commissions for both and would have an easier time getting funds depending if people are willing to pay you.
This is just one suggestion in my head though, I bet other people could help you out or elaborate on this.
